Hace días que no escribo en el blog, casi han pasado dos meses desde mi ultima publicación, en fin no tenía nada importante que explicar, uno de estoy días haré un post sobre mi empresa Cisium, pero aún no ha llegado el momento.
En realidad esta mañana he quedado muy impresionado por la noticia que he leído en El País sobre la creación de la primera célula sintética “La célula sintética: un avance científico poderoso e imprevisible“, recomiendo la lectura del artículo, es una de aquellas lecturas de 5 minutos que puede cambiar la concepción de tu existencia.
Resumiendo, el científico y empresario Craig Venterha sintetizado (creado en el laboratorio) la bacteria Mycoplasma mycoides. La ha creado desde cero, utilizando la secuencia de ADN de dicha batería y aplicando pequeñas variaciones en la cadena de ADN. Es decir, un ordenador tenía almacenada la secuencia de un millón de caracteres de la bacteria y luego mediante técnica de sintetización ha credo la bacteria la cual tiene las típicas funciones de un ser vivo: comunicarse, reproducirse, alimentarse, etc y “ya está” se ha creado vida desde cero.
Bueno, y yo me pregunto, despues de tantos años leyendo buena filosofía y basura filosófica…. donde esta la esencia del ser vivo motor de su existencia, llamemosles alma, esencia, etc. que algunos filósofos como Aristóteles, Santo Tomas, nos han explicado.
Personal mente, este descubrimiento ensombrece mi existencia, evidente mente no como ingeniero o científico, sino como persona perteneciente a este universo, otra prueba mas de mi vulgar, corta y perecedera existencia.
